The Flower Barn at Shawnee Stems

At Shawnee Stems, we're proud to introduce The Flower Barn, our event venue and pavilion! An ode to the way barns used to be built in this area. The barn and pavilion are timber frame constructed with exposed oak beams, shiplap, and authentic oak board and batten siding.  A timeless and beautiful structure that is sure to impress your guests! Oh, and let's not forget, stunning photography opportunities as well! 

The Flower Barn is a one of a kind structure that you will not find anywhere else in southern Illinois.

The ceremony pavilion is the perfect spot to host your ceremony with beautiful iron scroll work doors and exposed oak beams. The 14ft side doors can open inviting the outside in or can stay closed for an intimate feel and to keep the weather out. No worrying about a rain plan and renting a tent. 

Our beautiful timber frame building is also available for a ceremony in the event of rain or if you are wanting a beautiful indoor wedding. I like to tell people their worst case scenario is getting married in a timeless, beautiful timber frame building.

Our wildflowers can serve as an alternative ceremony spot as well! There are several locations among the flowers that can be utilized to have that wonderful outdoor wedding you've been dreaming of! The opportunities and options are many when it comes to your wedding event at The Flower Barn at Shawnee Stems!

The property is private, surrounded by timbered rolling hills, ponds, and beautiful seasonal wildflowers along with amazing sunsets. No highways or neighbors backyards, just mother nature and wonderful views!
